The Apple World
A map of the history, science and culture of the apple throughout the world, commissioned by the National Trust, the Museum of Cider and the Brightspace Foundation as part of the project ‘Apples and People’. The project entailed collating a large amount of academic research from art historians, pomologists and scientists in order to create the painting. In 2023-2024 it was exhibited in ‘An Apple Gathering’ at the National Trust property, Croft Castle and in ‘A Variety of Cultures’ at the Museum of Cider, both curated by Antonia Harrison in Herefordshire, UK.
The image was also used as an online story project, signage and merchandise.
